Leviticus 24:10-16

NKJV 10 Now the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and this Israelite woman's son and a man of Israel fought each other in the camp. NIV 10 Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father went out among the Israelites, and a fight broke out in the camp between him and an Israelite. NKJV 11 And the Israelite woman's son blasphemed the name of the Lord and cursed; and so they brought him to Moses. (His mother's name was Shelomith the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.) NIV 11 The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name with a curse; so they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri the Danite.) NKJV 12 Then they put him in custody, that the mind of the Lord might be shown to them. NIV 12 They put him in custody until the will of the LORD should be made clear to them. NKJV 13 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, NIV 13 Then the LORD said to Moses: NKJV 14 "Take outside the camp him who has cursed; then let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him. NIV 14 “Take the blasphemer outside the camp. All those who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the entire assembly is to stone him. NKJV 15 Then you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin. NIV 15 Say to the Israelites: ‘Anyone who curses their God will be held responsible; NKJV 16 And whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him, the stranger as well as him who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the name of the Lord, he shall be put to death. NIV 16 anyone who blasphemes the name of the LORD is to be put to death. The entire assembly must stone them. Whether foreigner or native-born, when they blaspheme the Name they are to be put to death.
