Mark 12:22-32

NKJV 22 So the seven had her and left no offspring. Last of all the woman died also. NIV 22 In fact, none of the seven left any children. Last of all, the woman died too. NKJV 23 Therefore, in the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be? For all seven had her as wife." NIV 23 At the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?” NKJV 24 Jesus answered and said to them, "Are you not therefore mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God? NIV 24 Jesus replied, “Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? NKJV 25 For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. NIV 25 When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. NKJV 26 But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? NIV 26 Now about the dead rising—have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? NKJV 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly mistaken." NIV 27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!” NKJV 28 Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, "Which is the first commandment of all?" NIV 28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” NKJV 29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. NIV 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. NKJV 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. NIV 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ NKJV 31 And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." NIV 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.” NKJV 32 So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. NIV 32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.
