KJV 8 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter. NIV 8 “Say to the Israelites, ‘If a man dies and leaves no son, give his inheritance to his daughter. KJV 9 And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren. NIV 9 If he has no daughter, give his inheritance to his brothers. KJV 10 And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren. NIV 10 If he has no brothers, give his inheritance to his father’s brothers. KJV 11 And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses. NIV 11 If his father had no brothers, give his inheritance to the nearest relative in his clan, that he may possess it. This is to have the force of law for the Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses.’ ”
