Philippians 2:10-20

NLT 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, NIV 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, NLT 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. NIV 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. NLT 12 Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. NIV 12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, NLT 13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. NIV 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. NLT 14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, NIV 14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, NLT 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. NIV 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky NLT 16 Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. NIV 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. NLT 17 But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy. NIV 17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. NLT 18 Yes, you should rejoice, and I will share your joy. NIV 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me. NLT 19 If the Lord Jesus is willing, I hope to send Timothy to you soon for a visit. Then he can cheer me up by telling me how you are getting along. NIV 19 I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I receive news about you. NLT 20 I have no one else like Timothy, who genuinely cares about your welfare. NIV 20 I have no one else like him, who will show genuine concern for your welfare.
