RHE 1 (113-1) When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a barbarous people: NIV 1 When Israel came out of Egypt, Jacob from a people of foreign tongue, RHE 2 (113-2) Judea was made his sanctuary, Israel his dominion. NIV 2 Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion. RHE 3 (113-3) The sea saw and fled: Jordan was turned back. NIV 3 The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back; RHE 4 (113-4) The mountains skipped like rams, and the hills like the lambs of the flock. NIV 4 the mountains leaped like rams, the hills like lambs. RHE 5 (113-5) What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou didst flee: and thou, O Jordan, that thou wast turned back? NIV 5 Why was it, sea, that you fled? Why, Jordan, did you turn back? RHE 6 (113-6) Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams, and ye hills, like lambs of the flock? NIV 6 Why, mountains, did you leap like rams, you hills, like lambs? RHE 7 (113-7) At the presence of the Lord the earth was moved, at the presence of the God of Jacob: NIV 7 Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, RHE 8 (113-8) Who turned the rock into pools of water, and the stony hill into fountains of waters. NIV 8 who turned the rock into a pool, the hard rock into springs of water.
