Psalm 46:1-7

CSB 1 God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. NIV 1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. CSB 2 Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, NIV 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, CSB 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah NIV 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. CSB 4 [There is] a river- its streams delight the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High. NIV 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. CSB 5 God is within her; she will not be toppled. God will help her when the morning dawns. NIV 5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. CSB 6 Nations rage, kingdoms topple; the earth melts when He lifts His voice. NIV 6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. CSB 7 The Lord of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah NIV 7 The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
