Psalm 63:1-6

NRS 1 O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. NIV 1 You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. NRS 2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. NIV 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. NRS 3 Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. NIV 3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. NRS 4 So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name. NIV 4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. NRS 5 My soul is satisfied as with a rich feast, and my mouth praises you with joyful lips NIV 5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. NRS 6 when I think of you on my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night; NIV 6 On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.
