1 Benjamín engendró a Bela su primogénito, Asbel el segundo, Ara el tercero

2 Noha el cuarto, y Rafa el quinto

3 Y los hijos de Bela fueron Adar, Gera, Abiud

4 Abisúa, Naamán, Ahoa

5 Gera, Sefufán, e Hiram

6 Y éstos son los hijos de Aod, éstos las cabezas de padres que habitaron en Geba, y fueron transportados a Manahat

7 Es a saber: Naamán, Ahías, y Gera; éste los transportó, y engendró a Uza, y a Ahiud

8 Y Saharaim engendró hijos en los campos de Moab, después que dejó a Husim y a Baara que eran sus mujeres

9 Engendró, pues, de Hodes su mujer, a Jobab, Sibia, Mesa, Malcam

10 Jeúz, Saquías, y Mirma. Estos son sus hijos, cabezas paternas

In this chapter the genealogy of the tribe of Benjamin is reconsidered, and several of the principal men and families in it are taken notice of, which were not before; or a further account is given of them, as of the sons and grandsons of Benjamin, 1Ch 8:1-5, of Ehud, 1Ch 8:5-7, of Shaharaim, 1Ch 8:8-11, of Elpaal and Beriah, 1Ch 8:12-18 of Shimhi, 1Ch 8:19-21, of Shashak, 1Ch 8:22-25, of Jeroham, 1Ch 8:26,27, of Jehiel the father of Gibeon, 1Ch 8:28-32, of Ner, and particularly Saul, 1Ch 8:33 and of Jonathan, and his posterity, 1Ch 8:34-40.
