6 Los hijos de Aod, jefes de los clanes que vivían en Geba, fueron desterrados a Manahat.

7 Los hijos de Aod fueron: Naamán, Ahías y Gera. Gera, quien los llevó al destierro, fue el padre de Uza y Ahiud.

8 Después que Saharaim se divorció de sus esposas Husim y Baara, tuvo hijos en la tierra de Moab.

9 Su esposa Hodes dio a luz a Jobab, Sibia, Mesa, Malcam,

10 Jeúz, Saquías y Mirma. Todos estos hijos llegaron a ser jefes de clanes.

11 Husim, la esposa de Saharaim, ya había dado a luz a Abitob y a Elpaal.

12 Los hijos de Elpaal fueron: Heber, Misam, Semed (quien construyó las ciudades de Ono y Lod y sus aldeas cercanas),

13 Bería y Sema. Ellos fueron los jefes de los clanes que vivían en Ajalón, y expulsaron a los habitantes de Gat.

14 Ahío, Sasac, Jeremot,

15 Zebadías, Arad, Ader,

16 Micael, Ispa y Joha fueron los hijos de Bería.

In this chapter the genealogy of the tribe of Benjamin is reconsidered, and several of the principal men and families in it are taken notice of, which were not before; or a further account is given of them, as of the sons and grandsons of Benjamin, 1Ch 8:1-5, of Ehud, 1Ch 8:5-7, of Shaharaim, 1Ch 8:8-11, of Elpaal and Beriah, 1Ch 8:12-18 of Shimhi, 1Ch 8:19-21, of Shashak, 1Ch 8:22-25, of Jeroham, 1Ch 8:26,27, of Jehiel the father of Gibeon, 1Ch 8:28-32, of Ner, and particularly Saul, 1Ch 8:33 and of Jonathan, and his posterity, 1Ch 8:34-40.
