1 Entonces todo Israel quedó anotado en los registros genealógicos en
El retorno de los desterrados
El pueblo de Judá fue desterrado a Babilonia porque fue infiel al Señor

2 Los primeros desterrados en regresar a las propiedades en sus antiguas ciudades fueron los sacerdotes, los levitas, los sirvientes del templo y otros israelitas.

3 Algunas personas de las tribus de Judá, Benjamín, Efraín y Manasés volvieron y se establecieron en Jerusalén.

4 Una familia que regresó fue la de Utai, hijo de Amiud, hijo de Omri, hijo de Imri, hijo de Bani, un descendiente de Fares, hijo de Judá.

5 Otros que volvieron pertenecían al clan de los silonitas, entre ellos Asaías (el mayor) y sus hijos.

6 Del clan de los zeraítas, regresó Jeuel junto con sus parientes.
En total regresaron seiscientas noventa familias de la tribu de Judá.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 9

The genealogies of the several tribes being given, according as they were written in the books of the kings of Israel, 1Ch 9:1, an account follows of those who first settled in Jerusalem after their return from the Babylonish captivity; of the Israelites, 1Ch 9:2-9, of the priests, 1Ch 9:10-13 of the Levites, and of the charge and offices of several of the priests and Levites, 1Ch 9:14-34, and the chapter is concluded with a repetition of the genealogy of the ancestors and posterity of Saul king of Israel, 1Ch 9:35-44.
