And kingSolomonmade two hundredtargets of beatengold:sixhundred shekels of goldwent to onetarget.

And he made threehundredshields of beatengold;threepound of goldwent to oneshield: and the kingput them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

Moreover the kingmade a greatthrone of ivory, and overlaid it with the bestgold.

The throne had sixsteps, and the top of the throne was roundbehind: and there were stays on either side on the place of the seat , and twolionsstoodbeside the stays.

And twelve*lionsstood there on the one side and on the other upon the sixsteps: there was not the likemade in any kingdom.

And all kingSolomon'sdrinkingvessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of puregold; none were of silver: it was nothingaccounted of in the days of Solomon.

For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram:once in threeyearscame the navy of Tharshish,bringinggold, and silver,ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

So kingSolomonexceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.

And all the earthsoughttoSolomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

And they brought every man his present,vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices,horses, and mules, a rateyear by year.

And Solomon gathered togetherchariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and fourhundredchariots, and twelve*thousandhorsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.
