And he commanded a centurion to keepPaul,and to let him haveliberty,and that he should forbidnone of hisacquaintance to ministerorcome unto him.

And as hereasonedofrighteousness,temperance*, andjudgment to come* , Felixtrembled* , and answered , Go thy way for this time;when I have* a convenient season, I will call forthee.

He hopedalso**thatmoney should have been givenhimofPaul,that he might loosehim:wherefore he sent forhim the oftener,and communed withhim.
