Esdras 2:57-67

57 los hijos de Sefatías, los hijos de Hatil, los hijos de Poqueret-hazebaim, los hijos de Ami.

58 El total de los sirvientes del templo y de los hijos de los siervos de Salomón, era de trescientos noventa y dos.

59 Y estos fueron los que subieron de Tel-mela, Tel-harsa, Querub, Addán e Imer, aunque no pudieron demostrar si sus casas paternas o su descendencia eran de Israel:

60 los hijos de Delaía, los hijos de Tobías, los hijos de Necoda, seiscientos cincuenta y dos;

61 y de los hijos de los sacerdotes: los hijos de Habaía, los hijos de Cos, los hijos de Barzilai, que había tomado por mujer a una de las hijas de Barzilai galaadita, con cuyo nombre fue llamado.

62 Estos buscaron en su registro de genealogías, pero no se hallaron, y fueron considerados inmundos y excluidos del sacerdocio.

63 Y el gobernador ^[a] les dijo que no comieran de las cosas santísimas hasta que un sacerdote se levantara con Urim y Tumim.

64 Toda la asamblea reunida era de cuarenta y dos mil trescientos sesenta,

65 sin contar sus siervos y siervas, que eran siete mil trescientos treinta y siete; y tenían doscientos cantores y cantoras.

66 Sus caballos eran setecientos treinta y seis; sus mulos, doscientos cuarenta y cinco;

67 sus camellos, cuatrocientos treinta y cinco; sus asnos, seis mil setecientos veinte.

INTRODUCTION TO EZRA 2

This chapter contains a list of those that went up from Babylon to Jerusalem, of their leaders, their chief men, princes and priests, Ezr 2:1,2 of the people, described by their families, towns, and cities, and number of persons, Ezr 2:3-35, of the priests, Levites, and Nethinims, Ezr 2:36-58, and of those that could not make out their genealogy, people and priests, Ezr 2:59-63, and then the sum total of the whole congregation is given, Ezr 2:64, besides men and maidservants, singing men and women, and cattle of divers sorts, Ezr 2:65-67, and the chapter is closed with an account of the freewill offerings of the principal men towards the building of the temple, and of the settlement of the people in their respective cities, Ezr 2:68-70.
