Ezequiel 37:12-22

12 Por tanto, profetiza, y diles: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: He aquí, yo abro vuestros sepulcros, y os haré subir de vuestras sepulturas, pueblo mío, y os traeré a la tierra de Israel.

13 Y sabréis que yo soy el SEÑOR, cuando abriere vuestros sepulcros, y os sacare de vuestras sepulturas, pueblo mío.

14 Y pondré mi Espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis, y yo os haré reposar sobre vuestra tierra; y sabréis que yo, el SEÑOR, hablé, y lo hice, dijo el SEÑOR.

15 Y vino Palabra del SEÑOR a mí, diciendo:

16 Tú, hijo de hombre, tómate ahora un palo, y escribe en él: A Judá, y a los hijos de Israel sus compañeros. Toma después otro palo, y escribe en él: A José, palo de Efraín, y a toda la Casa de Israel sus compañeros.

17 Júntalos luego el uno con el otro, para que sean en uno, y serán uno en tu mano.

18 Y cuando te hablaren los hijos de tu pueblo, diciendo: ¿No nos enseñarás qué te significan estas cosas?

19 Diles: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: He aquí, yo tomo el palo de José que está en la mano de Efraín, y a las tribus de Israel sus compañeros, y yo los pondré con él, con el palo de Judá, y los haré un palo, y serán uno en mi mano.

20 Y los palos sobre los que escribieres, estarán en tu mano delante de sus ojos;

21 y les dirás: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: He aquí, yo tomo a los hijos de Israel de entre los gentiles a los cuales fueron, y los juntaré de todas partes, y los traeré a su tierra;

22 y los haré una nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel; y un rey será a todos ellos por rey; y nunca más serán dos naciones, ni nunca más serán divididos en dos reinos;

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 37

This chapter contains a prophecy of the Jews' return from captivity to their own land; of the union of the each tribes with one another; and of the glorious kingdom of Christ among them. Their restoration is represented by a vision of dry bones made alive; the place in which they were; the condition they were in; and the manner in which they were made to live, are described, Eze 37:1-10, the explication and application of this vision to the Jews, Eze 37:11-14, their union is signified by a sign or emblem of two sticks, which became one in the hand of the prophet, Eze 37:15-17, the meaning of this is shown, Eze 37:18-20, then follow promises of their return to their own land, in express words; of their being one kingdom, under one King, Christ, the antitype of David, of their sanctification; of their covenant interest in God, made manifest to them; and of his presence, and dwelling among them, Eze 37:21-28.
