Job 38:19-29

19 ¿Por dónde va el camino a la habitación de la luz, y dónde está el lugar de las tinieblas

20 ¿Si la tomarás tú en sus términos, y si entendieras las sendas de su casa

21 ¿Si sabías tú cuando habías de nacer, y si el número de tus días había de ser grande

22 ¿Has entrado tú en los tesoros de la nieve, y has visto los tesoros del granizo

23 lo cual tengo yo reservado para el tiempo de la angustia, para el día de la guerra y de la batalla

24 ¿Cuál sea el camino por donde se reparte la luz; por donde se esparce el viento solano sobre la tierra

25 ¿Quién repartió conducto al turbión, y camino a los relámpagos del trueno

26 haciendo llover sobre la tierra deshabitada, sobre el desierto, donde no hay hombre

27 para saciar la tierra desierta e inculta, y para hacer producir de verdura renuevos

28 ¿Por ventura la lluvia tiene padre? ¿O quién engendró las gotas del rocío

INTRODUCTION TO JOB 38

In this chapter the Lord takes up the controversy with Job; calls upon him to prepare to engage with him in it, and demands an answer to posing questions he puts to him, concerning the earth and the fabric of it, Job 38:1-7; concerning the sea, compared to an infant in embryo, at its birth, in its swaddling bands and cradle, Job 38:8-11; concerning the morning light, its spread and influence, Job 38:12-15; concerning the springs of the sea, the dark parts of the earth, the place both of light and darkness, Job 38:16-21; concerning the various meteors, snow, hail, rain, thunder, lightning, and the influences of the stars, Job 38:22-38; and concerning provision for lions and ravens, Job 38:40,41.
