Levitikus 22:26-33

26 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:

27 Wenn ein Ochs oder Lamm oder Ziege geboren ist, so soll es sieben Tage bei seiner Mutter sein, und am achten Tage und darnach mag man's dem HERRN opfern, so ist's angenehm.

28 Es sei ein Ochs oder Schaf, so soll man's nicht mit seinem Jungen auf einen Tag schlachten.

29 Wenn ihr aber wollt dem HERRN ein Lobopfer tun, das von euch angenehm sei, {~}

30 so sollt ihr's desselben Tages essen und sollt nichts übrig bis auf den Morgen behalten; denn ich bin der HERR.

31 Darum haltet meine Gebote und tut darnach; denn ich bin der HERR.

32 Daß ihr meinen heiligen Namen nicht entheiligt, und ich geheiligt werde unter den Kindern Israel; denn ich bin der HERR, der euch heiligt,

33 der euch aus Ägyptenland geführt hat, daß ich euer Gott wäre, ich, der HERR.

INTRODUCTION TO LEVITICUS 22

In this chapter several laws are delivered out, forbidding the priests to eat of holy things, when in any uncleanness, or at any time what dies of itself, or is torn of beasts, Le 22:1-9; also showing who belonging to the priests might or might not eat of the holy things, Le 22:10-16; and others requiring that whatever offerings were brought by the children, of Israel, they should be perfect and without blemish, Le 22:17-25; and also declaring what age a creature should be of when sacrificed, and the time when thank offerings were to be eaten, Le 22:26-30; concluding with an exhortation to observe the commands of God, and sanctify him, and not profane his name, Le 22:31-33.
