Therefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men, but the blasphemy
against the Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men.

And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him, but whosoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this age, neither in the
age to come.

Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by
its fruit.

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

The good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things, and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
36
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we desire to see a sign from thee.
39
But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and there no sign shall be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah;
40
for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41
The men of Nineveh shall rise in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah
is here.
