Proverbios 16:3-13

3 Pon en manos del SEÑOR todas tus obras,y tus proyectos se cumplirán.

4 Toda obra del SEÑOR tiene un propósito;¡hasta el malvado fue hecho para el día del desastre!

5 El SEÑOR aborrece a los arrogantes.Una cosa es segura: no quedarán impunes.

6 Con amor y verdad se perdona el pecado,y con temor del SEÑOR se evita el mal.

7 Cuando el SEÑOR aprueba la conducta de un hombre,hasta con sus enemigos lo reconcilia.

8 Más vale tener poco con justiciaque ganar mucho con injusticia.

9 El corazón del hombre traza su rumbo,pero sus pasos los dirige el SEÑOR.

10 La sentencia^[a] está en labios del rey;en el veredicto que emite no hay error.

11 Las pesas y las balanzas justas son del SEÑOR;todas las medidas son hechura suya.

12 El rey detesta las malas acciones,porque el trono se afirma en la justicia.

13 El rey se complace en los labios honestos;aprecia a quien habla con la verdad.

INTRODUCTION TO FIRST KINGS 6

This chapter gives an account of the building of the temple, for which preparations were before made and begins with the time of its building, 1Ki 6:1; gives the dimensions of it and the porch before it, 1Ki 6:2,3; observes the windows in it and chambers about it, 1Ki 6:4-10; and while it was building, Solomon had a word from the Lord relative to it, 1Ki 6:11-14; and then the account goes on concerning the walls of the house, and the flooring of it, 1Ki 6:15-18; and the oracle in it, and the cherubim in that, 1Ki 6:19-30; and the doors into it, and the carved work of them, 1Ki 6:31-36; and the chapter is concluded with observing the time when it was begun and finished 1Ki 6:37,38.
