Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead,1 descended from David.2 This is my gospel,39
for which I am suffering4 even to the point of being chained5 like a criminal. But God's word6 is not chained.

Therefore I endure everything7 for the sake of the elect,8 that they too may obtain the salvation9 that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.10
