Paul, having remainedmanydayslonger, 1tookleave of 2the brethren and put out to sea for 3Syria, and with him were 4Priscilla and 5Aquila. In 6Cenchrea he 7had his haircut, for he was keeping a vow.

They came to 8Ephesus, and he left them there. Now he himselfentered9the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews.

When they asked him to stay for a longertime, he did not consent,

but 10takingleave of them and saying, "I will return to you again11if Godwills," he setsail from 12Ephesus.

When he had landed at 13Caesarea, he went up and greeted the church, and wentdown to 14Antioch.
