1 Kings 1:4; 1 Kings 1:15; 1 Kings 8:11; 1 Kings 10:5; 1 Kings 19:21 (New American Standard)

4 The girl was very beautiful; and she became the king's nurse and served him, but the king did not cohabit with her. 15 So Bathsheba went in to the king in the bedroom. Now the king was very old, and Abishag the Shunammite was ministering to the king. 11 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD. 5 the food of his table, the seating of his servants, the attendance of his waiters and their attire, his cupbearers, and his stairway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit in her. 21 So he returned from following him, and took the pair of oxen and sacrificed them and boiled their flesh with the implements of the oxen, and gave it to the people and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah and ministered to him.
