16 At that time Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD , and from the doorposts which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.

18 'Some of your sons who shall issue from you, whom you will beget, will be taken away; and they will become officials in the palace of the king of Babylon.' "

13 He carried out from there all the treasures of the house of the LORD , and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD , just as the LORD had said.
