"Please, let us make a little walled upper chamber and let us set a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand ; and it shall be, when he comes to us, that he can turn in there."
select the best and fittest of your master's sons, and set him on his father's throne, and fight for your master's house."
The LORD said to Jehu, "Because you have done well in executing what is right in My eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in My heart, your sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel."
He took the captains of hundreds and the Carites and the guards and all the people of the land ; and they brought the king down from the house of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guards to the king's house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.
So Joash slept with his fathers, and Jeroboam sat on his throne ; and Joash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
This is the word of the LORD which He spoke to Jehu, saying, "Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel." And so it was.
and he spoke kindly to him and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon.
