5 So David said to the young man who told him, "How do you know that Saul and his son Jonathan are dead?"

14 Then David said to him, "How is it you were not afraid to stretch out your hand to destroy the LORD'S anointed?"

19 "Your beauty, O Israel, is slain on your high places! How have the mighty fallen!

25 "How have the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! Jonathan is slain on your high places.

27 "How have the mighty fallen, And the weapons of war perished!"

22 Abner repeated again to Asahel, "Turn aside from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I lift up my face to your brother Joab?"

9 So David was afraid of the LORD that day; and he said, "How can the ark of the LORD come to me?"

18 Then it happened on the seventh day that the child died. And the servants of David were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, "Behold, while the child was still alive, we spoke to him and he did not listen to our voice. How then can we tell him that the child is dead, since he might do himself harm!"
