Acts 3:12-18

And when Peter saw it he addressed the people: "Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we have made him walk?
1The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, 2the God of our fathers, 3glorified his servant[a] Jesus, whom 4you delivered over and 5denied in the presence of Pilate, 6when he had decided to release him.
But you denied 7the Holy and 8Righteous One, and 9asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
and you killed 10the Author of life, 11whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.
And 12his name--by 13faith in his name--has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is 14through Jesus[b] has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.
"And now, brothers, I know that 15you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
But what God 16foretold 17by the mouth of all the prophets, that 18his Christ would 19suffer, he thus fulfilled.
