He wanders about1--food for vulturesa;2 he knows the day of darkness3 is at hand.4

Distress and anguish5 fill him with terror;6 they overwhelm him, like a king7 poised to attack,

because he shakes his fist8 at God and vaunts himself against the Almighty,9

defiantly charging against him with a thick, strong shield.10
