Let the priests, who minister1 before the LORD, weep2 between the temple porch and the altar.3 Let them say, "Spare your people, O LORD. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn,4 a byword5 among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?6' "
Then the LORD will be jealous7 for his land and take pity8 on his people.
The LORD will replya to them: "I am sending you grain, new wine9 and oil,10 enough to satisfy you fully;11 never again will I make you an object of scorn12 to the nations.
