You showed favor to your land, O LORD; you restored the fortunes1 of Jacob.
You forgave2 the iniquity3 of your people and covered all their sins. "Selah"
You set aside all your wrath4 and turned from your fierce anger.54
Restore6 us again, O God our Savior,7 and put away your displeasure toward us.
Will you be angry with us forever?8 Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
Will you not revive9 us again, that your people may rejoice10 in you?
Show us your unfailing love,11 O LORD, and grant us your salvation.128
I will listen to what God the LORD will say; he promises peace13 to his people, his saints-- but let them not return to folly.149
Surely his salvation15 is near those who fear him, that his glory16 may dwell in our land.
Love and faithfulness17 meet together; righteousness18 and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness19 looks down from heaven.
The LORD will indeed give what is good,20 and our land will yield21 its harvest.
Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.
