9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from 1every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing 2before the throne and 3before the Lamb, clothed in 4white robes, and 5palm branches were in their hands ; 10 and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, "6 Salvation to our God7 who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." 11 And all the angels were standing 8around the throne and around 9the elders and the 10four living creatures ; and they 11fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying, "12 Amen, 13blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. 14 Amen." 13 Then one of the elders 15answered, saying to me, "These who are clothed in the 16white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?" 14 I asaid to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the 17great tribulation, and they have 18washed their robes and made them 19white in the 20blood of the Lamb. 15 "For this reason, they are 21before the throne of God ; and they 22serve Him day and night in His b23temple ; and 24He who sits on the throne will spread His 25tabernacle over them. 16 "26They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore ; nor will the sun cbeat down on them, nor any heat ; 17 for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their 27shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the d28water of life ; and 29God will wipe every tear from their eyes."New American Standard Bible Copyright © 1960, 1962, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1995 by The Lockman Foundation, La Habra, California.
