When they had entered the city, they went up to the upper room where they were staying ; that is, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.
"For it was not David who ascended into heaven, but he himself says : 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND,
Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer.
"But when he was approaching the age of forty, it entered his mind to visit his brethren, the sons of Israel.
And he said, "Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?" And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away ; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing.
And fixing his gaze on him and being much alarmed, he said, "What is it, Lord ?" And he said to him, "Your prayers and alms have ascended as a memorial before God.
On the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray.
And when Peter came up to Jerusalem, those who were circumcised took issue with him,
And when Paul and Barnabas had great dissension and debate with them, the brethren determined that Paul and Barnabas and some others of them should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this issue.
When he had landed at Caesarea, he went up and greeted the church, and went down to Antioch.
When he had gone back up and had broken the bread and eaten, he talked with them a long while until daybreak, and then left.
When we had heard this, we as well as the local residents began begging him not to go up to Jerusalem.
After these days we got ready and started on our way up to Jerusalem.
While they were seeking to kill him, a report came up to the commander of the Roman cohort that all Jerusalem was in confusion.
since you can take note of the fact that no more than twelve days ago I went up to Jerusalem to worship.
Festus then, having arrived in the province, three days later went up to Jerusalem from Caesarea.
But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, answered Paul and said, "Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me on these charges?"
