I became a servant of this gospel1 by the gift of God's grace given me2 through the working of his power.38
Although I am less than the least of all the Lord's people,4 this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles5 the boundless riches of Christ,69
and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery,7 which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.
His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God8 should be made known9 to the rulers and authorities10 in the heavenly realms,1111
according to his eternal purpose12 that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In him and through faith in him we may approach God13 with freedom and confidence.1413
I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.
