11 "Ask a sign for yourself from the LORD your God; make it deep as Sheol or high as heaven."

12 But Ahaz said, "I will not ask, nor will I test the LORD !"

2 Who proceed down to Egypt Without consulting Me, To take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh And to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!

28 "But when I look, there is no one, And there is no counselor among them Who, if I ask, can give an answer.

11 Thus says the LORD , the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: "Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, And you shall commit to Me the work of My hands.

2 "Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways, As a nation that has done righteousness And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God. They ask Me for just decisions, They delight in the nearness of God.

1 "I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, 'Here am I, here am I,' To a nation which did not call on My name.
