2 When it was reported to the house of David, saying, "The Arameans have camped in Ephraim," his heart and the hearts of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake with the wind. 13 Then he said, "Listen now, O house of David ! Is it too slight a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God as well ? 7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore . The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this. 5 A throne will even be established in lovingkindness, And a judge will sit on it in faithfulness in the tent of David ; Moreover, he will seek justice And be prompt in righteousness. 9 And you saw that the breaches In the wall of the city of David were many ; And you collected the waters of the lower pool. 22 "Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder, When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open.

" 5 "Go and say to Hezekiah, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears ; behold, I will add fifteen years to your life. 3 "Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live ; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, According to the faithful mercies shown to David.
