I said, "1In the middle of my alife I am to enter the 2gates of Sheol ; I am to be 3deprived of the rest of my years."

"Like a shepherd's5tent my dwelling is pulled up and removed from me; As a 6weaver I 7rolled up my life. He 8cuts me off from the loom ; From 9dayuntilnight You make an end of me.

"I composed my soul untilmorning. 10Like a lion-so He 11breaksall my bones, From 12dayuntilnight You make an end of me.

"13Like a swallow, like a crane, so I twitter ; I 14moan like a dove ; My 15eyeslookwistfully to the heights ; O Lord, I am oppressed, be my 16security.

"17What shall I say ? bFor He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it; I will 18wander about all my yearsbecause of the 19bitterness of my soul.

"O Lord, 20by these things men live, And in all these is the life of my spirit ; c21O restore me to health and 22let me live !

"The LORD will surely save me; So we will 29play my songs on stringed instruments 30All the days of our life31at the house of the LORD."
