8 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil." 3 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man fearing God and turning away from evil. And he still holds fast his integrity, although you incited Me against him to ruin him without cause." 17 "What is man that You magnify him, And that You are concerned about him, 10 "Will they not teach you and tell you, And bring forth words from their minds? 13 "If you would direct your heart right And spread out your hand to Him, 24 "He deprives of intelligence the chiefs of the earth's people And makes them wander in a pathless waste. 12 "Why does your heart carry you away? And why do your eyes flash, 4 "For You have kept their heart from understanding, Therefore You will not exalt them. 16 "It is God who has made my heart faint, And the Almighty who has dismayed me, 13 "The blessing of the one ready to perish came upon me, And I made the widow's heart sing for joy. 7 "If my step has turned from the way, Or my heart followed my eyes, Or if any spot has stuck to my hands, 9 "If my heart has been enticed by a woman, Or I have lurked at my neighbor's doorway, 27 And my heart became secretly enticed, And my hand threw a kiss from my mouth, 3 "My words are from the uprightness of my heart, And my lips speak knowledge sincerely. 14 "If He should determine to do so, If He should gather to Himself His spirit and His breath, 5 "Behold, God is mighty but does not despise any; He is mighty in strength of understanding. 13 "But the godless in heart lay up anger; They do not cry for help when He binds them.
