64 "But there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him. 71 Now He meant Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray Him. 4 But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, who was intending to betray Him, said, 2 During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him, 11 For He knew the one who was betraying Him; for this reason He said, "Not all of you are clean."

Jesus Predicts His Betrayal

21 When Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit, and testified and said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, that one of you will betray Me." 2 Now Judas also, who was betraying Him, knew the place, for Jesus had often met there with His disciples. 5 They answered Him, "Jesus the Nazarene." He said to them, "I am He." And Judas also, who was betraying Him, was standing with them. 30 They answered and said to him, "If this Man were not an evildoer, we would not have delivered Him to you." 35 Pilate answered, "I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered You to me; what have You done?" 36 Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm." 11 Jesus answered, "You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."

The Crucifixion

16 So he then handed Him over to them to be crucified. 30 Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. 20 Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them; the one who also had leaned back on His bosom at the supper and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?"
