13 and spare my father and my mother and my brothers and my sisters, with all who belong to them, and deliver our lives from death." 8 Now when they had finished circumcising all the nation, they remained in their places in the camp until they were healed. 17 "The city shall be under the ban, it and all that is in it belongs to the LORD ; only Rahab the harlot and all who are with her in the house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent. 25 However, Rahab the harlot and her father's household and all she had, Joshua spared ; and she has lived in the midst of Israel to this day, for she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. 15 Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them, to let them live ; and the leaders of the congregation swore an oath to them. 20 "This we will do to them, even let them live, so that wrath will not be upon us for the oath which we swore to them." 21 The leaders said to them, "Let them live." So they became hewers of wood and drawers of water for the whole congregation, just as the leaders had spoken to them. 10 "Now behold, the LORD has let me live, just as He spoke, these forty-five years, from the time that the LORD spoke this word to Moses, when Israel walked in the wilderness ; and now behold, I am eighty-five years old today.
