When the sons of Israel cried to the LORD , the LORD raised up a deliverer for the sons of Israel to deliver them, Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.
But when the sons of Israel cried to the LORD , the LORD raised up a deliverer for them, Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a left-handed man. And the sons of Israel sent tribute by him to Eglon the king of Moab.
Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh, and ten thousand men went up with him; Deborah also went up with him.
Sisera called together all his chariots, nine hundred iron chariots, and all the people who were with him, from Harosheth-hagoyim to the river Kishon.
So Israel was brought very low because of Midian, and the sons of Israel cried to the LORD .
Now it came about when the sons of Israel cried to the LORD on account of Midian,
So the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon; and he blew a trumpet, and the Abiezrites were called together to follow him.
He sent messengers throughout Manasseh, and they also were called together to follow him; and he sent messengers to Asher, Zebulun, and Naphtali, and they came up to meet them.
Then the sons of Israel cried out to the LORD , saying, "We have sinned against You, for indeed, we have forsaken our God and served the Baals."
"Go and cry out to the gods which you have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your distress."
Jephthah said to them, "I and my people were at great strife with the sons of Ammon; when I called you, you did not deliver me from their hand.
When they had gone some distance from the house of Micah, the men who were in the houses near Micah's house assembled and overtook the sons of Dan.
They cried to the sons of Dan, who turned around and said to Micah, "What is the matter with you, that you have assembled together?"
