42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. But as He went, the crowds were pressing against Him. 52 Now they were all weeping and lamenting for her; but He said, "Stop weeping, for she has not died, but is asleep." 53 And they began laughing at Him, knowing that she had died. 22 "Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom ; and the rich man also died and was buried. 28 and they questioned Him, saying, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that IF A MAN'S BROTHER DIES, having a wife, AND HE IS CHILDLESS, HIS BROTHER SHOULD MARRY THE WIFE AND RAISE UP CHILDREN TO HIS BROTHER. 29 "Now there were seven brothers ; and the first took a wife and died childless ; 31 and the third married her; and in the same way all seven died, leaving no children. 32 "Finally the woman died also. 36 for they cannot even die anymore, because they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
