10 Immediately coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens opening, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him;

Parable of the Seed

26 And He was saying, "The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil ; 27 and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows -how, he himself does not know. 31 "It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the soil, though it is smaller than all the seeds that are upon the soil, 36 Leaving the crowd, they took Him along with them in the boat, just as He was; and other boats were with Him. 13 Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine ; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea. 15 But others were saying, "He is Elijah." And others were saying, "He is a prophet, like one of the prophets of old." 34 When Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd ; and He began to teach them many things. 9 About four thousand were there; and He sent them away. 24 And he looked up and said, "I see men, for I see them like trees, walking around."

Jesus' Teaching about Divorce

1 Getting up, He went from there to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan ; crowds gathered around Him again, and, according to His custom, He once more began to teach them. 15 "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all." 25 "For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. 34 "It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay on the alert. 72 Immediately a rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had made the remark to him, "Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." And he began to weep.
