45 But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas ; and they were coming to Him from everywhere. 2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room, not even near the door ; and He was speaking the word to them. 14 "The sower sows the word. 15 "These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown ; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. 16 "In a similar way these are the ones on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy ; 17 and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary ; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away. 18 "And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns ; these are the ones who have heard the word, 19 but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 "And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil ; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold." 33 With many such parables He was speaking the word to them, so far as they were able to hear it; 36 But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, said to the synagogue official, "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe." 13 thus invalidating the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down ; and you do many things such as that." 29 And He said to her, "Because of this answer go ; the demon has gone out of your daughter." 32 And He was stating the matter plainly. And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. 38 "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." 10 They seized upon that statement, discussing with one another what rising from the dead meant. 22 But at these words he was saddened, and he went away grieving, for he was one who owned much property. 24 The disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God ! 29 And Jesus said to them, "I will ask you one question, and you answer Me, and then I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

Jesus Answers the Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes

13 Then they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Him in order to trap Him in a statement. 31 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. 39 Again He went away and prayed, saying the same words. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.] [And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. ]
