"Now then, my sons, listen1 to me; blessed are2 those who keep my ways.3

Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it.

Blessed is the man who listens4 to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

For whoever finds me5 finds life6 and receives favor from the LORD.7

But whoever fails to find me harms himself;8 all who hate me love death."9
