14 You have seen it, for You have beheld mischief and vexation to take it into Your hand. The unfortunate commits himself to You; You have been the helper of the orphan. 3 Consider and answer me, O LORD my God; Enlighten my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death, 17 I can count all my bones. They look, they stare at me; 13 The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men; 5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed. 20 Consider the covenant; For the dark places of the land are full of the habitations of violence. 14 O God of hosts, turn again now, we beseech You; Look down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine, 9 Behold our shield, O God, And look upon the face of Your anointed. 8 You will only look on with your eyes And see the recompense of the wicked. 11 And my eye has looked exultantly upon my foes, My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me. 9 He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He not see? 19 For He looked down from His holy height; From heaven the LORD gazed upon the earth, 32 He looks at the earth, and it trembles; He touches the mountains, and they smoke. 6 Then I shall not be ashamed When I look upon all Your commandments. 15 I will meditate on Your precepts And regard Your ways. 18 Open my eyes, that I may behold Wonderful things from Your law. 4 Look to the right and see; For there is no one who regards me; There is no escape for me; No one cares for my soul.
