18 To vindicate the orphan and the oppressed, So that man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror. 10 Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there.

The Vanity of Life.

1 I said, "I will guard my ways That I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth as with a muzzle While the wicked are in my presence." 5 Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. 11 Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God. 5 Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God. 9 We do not see our signs; There is no longer any prophet, Nor is there any among us who knows how long. 17 Yet they still continued to sin against Him, To rebel against the Most High in the desert. 30 Before they had satisfied their desire, While their food was in their mouths, 32 In spite of all this they still sinned And did not believe in His wonderful works. 4 They have said, "Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, That the name of Israel be remembered no more." 4 How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. Selah. 5 Forsaken among the dead, Like the slain who lie in the grave, Whom You remember no more, And they are cut off from Your hand. 14 They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green, 16 When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer. 33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 35 Let sinners be consumed from the earth And let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Praise the LORD! 18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. 5 Let the righteous smite me in kindness and reprove me; It is oil upon the head; Do not let my head refuse it, For still my prayer is against their wicked deeds. 2 I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
