Young's Literal Translation
The God who girds me with strength And makes my way blameless ?
For You have girded me with strength for battle ; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
The king is not saved by a mighty army ; A warrior is not delivered by great strength.
A horse is a false hope for victory ; Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength.
Even those who trust in their wealth And boast in the abundance of their riches ?
For he sees that even wise men die ; The stupid and the senseless alike perish And leave their wealth to others.
Do not slay them, or my people will forget ; Scatter them by Your power, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.
Through God we shall do valiantly, And it is He who will tread down our adversaries.
Do not trust in oppression And do not vainly hope in robbery ; If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.
Behold, these are the wicked ; And always at ease, they have increased in wealth.
The stouthearted were plundered, They sank into sleep ; And none of the warriors could use his hands.
They go from strength to strength, Every one of them appears before God in Zion.
Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.
Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power ; In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew.
The sound of joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous ; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
The right hand of the LORD is exalted ; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
But He overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
