Young's Literal Translation
This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face -even Jacob. Selah.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.
Therefore , let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him And saved him out of all his troubles.
For such is God, Our God forever and ever; He will guide us until death.
This is the way of those who are foolish, And of those after them who approve their words. Selah.
Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call; This I know, that God is for me.
The earth quaked; The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God; Sinai itself quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
Remember Your congregation, which You have purchased of old, Which You have redeemed to be the tribe of Your inheritance; And this Mount Zion, where You have dwelt.
But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.
For a cup is in the hand of the LORD, and the wine foams; It is well mixed, and He pours out of this; Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs.
So He brought them to His holy land, To this hill country which His right hand had gained.
"I shall mention Rahab and Babylon among those who know Me; Behold, Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia: 'This one was born there.' "
The LORD will count when He registers the peoples, "This one was born there." Selah.
The mountains rose; the valleys sank down To the place which You established for them.
There is the sea, great and broad, In which are swarms without number, Animals both small and great.
There the ships move along, And Leviathan, which You have formed to sport in it.
This is the gate of the LORD; The righteous will enter through it.
This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
