View In My Bible
15 The mountains of Bashan1 are majestic mountains;2 rugged are the mountains of Bashan. 16 Why gaze in envy, O rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses3 to reign, where the LORD himself will dwell forever?4 17 The chariots5 of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands;6 the Lord [has come] from Sinai into his sanctuary. 18 When you ascended7 on high,8 you led captives9 in your train; you received gifts from men,10 even froma the rebellious11-- that you,b O LORD God, might dwell there. 19 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,12 who daily bears our burdens.13 "Selah" 20 Our God is a God who saves;14 from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death.15 21 Surely God will crush the heads16 of his enemies, the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.
