The LORD reigns,1 let the earth be glad;2 let the distant shores3 rejoice.

Clouds4 and thick darkness5 surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.6

Fire7 goes before8 him and consumes9 his foes on every side.

His lightning10 lights up the world; the earth11 sees and trembles.12

The mountains melt13 like wax14 before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.15
6
The heavens proclaim his righteousness,16 and all the peoples see his glory.17
7
All who worship images18 are put to shame,19 those who boast in idols20-- worship him,21 all you gods!22
