Y el pacto que he hecho con vosotros, no lo olvidaréis, ni temeréis a otros dioses.

Sino que al SEÑOR vuestro Dios temeréis, y El os librará de la mano de todos vuestros enemigos.

Pero ellos no escucharon, sino que hicieron conforme a su antigua costumbre.

Y aunque estas naciones temían al SEÑOR, también servían a sus ídolos; y de la misma manera que hicieron sus padres, así hacen hasta hoy sus hijos y sus nietos.
