Zechariah 1:14

So the angel that communed with me
Having an order from the other Angel, or the Lord of hosts: said unto me, Cry thou;
proclaim, publish, declare in the hearing of the people, for their comfort and encouragement. The Targum renders it, "prophesy": saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I am jealous for Jerusalem,
and for Zion, with a great jealousy;
which is expressive of his conjugal affection for his church and people, his zeal for their good, and his indignation at their enemies, and of the vengeance he would execute on them.

12 Entonces respondió el ángel del SEÑOR y dijo: Oh SEÑOR de los ejércitos, ¿hasta cuándo seguirás sin compadecerte de Jerusalén y de las ciudades de Judá, contra las cuales has estado indignado estos setenta años?

13 Y el SEÑOR respondió al ángel que hablaba conmigo palabras buenas, palabras consoladoras.

14 Y el ángel que hablaba conmigo me dijo: Proclama, diciendo: "Así dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos: 'Estoy celoso en gran manera por Jerusalén y por Sion,

15 y con gran enojo estoy yo enojado contra las naciones que están confiadas; porque cuando yo estaba un poco enojado, ellas contribuyeron al mal.'

16 "Por tanto, así dice el SEÑOR: 'Me volveré a Jerusalén con compasión; en ella será reedificada mi casa'declara el SEÑOR de los ejércitos"y el cordel será tendido sobre Jerusalén.'"
